On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the Abeokuta Vocations Team paid a fraternal visit to St. Albert the Great Major Seminary, bringing warmth, encouragement, and spiritual support to the Seminary community. Their visit was a tangible expression of the Diocese’s steadfast commitment to the formation of future priests each academic year.
The Seminary community welcomed the team with joy and gratitude. During a brief reception ceremony, the Rector, Very Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Adebayo Lewis, introduced the delegation and expressed heartfelt appreciation for their enduring dedication to promoting vocations and for their generosity towards the house of formation.
More than a courtesy call, the visit reflected deep fraternal solidarity between the Diocese and the Seminary. The team presented the Seminary with a generous donation of food items and essential provisions, a gesture that was warmly received and deeply appreciated by the entire seminary community.
An interactive session followed, during which several members of the Vocation Team offered words of encouragement and guidance to the seminarians. They emphasized the importance of diligence, discipline, and perseverance in the journey toward priesthood.
